Adapting to Disruption: Becoming a Lawyer of the Future

Allens, 37/101 Collins St, Melbourne VIC 3000 (map)

Please register your attendance here.

Join us for an interactive and informative discussion exploring the changing role of lawyers in an era of rapid change. We’ll share our perspective on what it takes to create lawyers of the future and facilitate group discussion about how to future-proof lawyers. You will be joined by three industry experts who will guide group discussions and share their diverse experiences and perspectives on becoming a lawyer of the future.

The night will include a ‘roundtable discussion’ component where each expert will facilitate group discussion between approximately 15 students. As such, attendees should anticipate that this event will be more immersive than the usual panel or presentation format.

As there is an interactive component and attendance is strictly limited, registration is absolutely essential. We encourage students to only register if they are certain they are attending, and to please de-register or directly message us if they are no longer able to attend.

There will be an opportunity for refreshments and networking following the event.

Industry experts that will be in attendance:

  • Innovation perspective: Liza Greenwood (Senior Manager of Innovation and Strategy Projects)

  • Applied Legal Technology perspective: Robert Milliken and Sandi Montalto (LawLab Project Managers)

  • Legal Perspective: Kye-Ren Cheong (Law Graduate - Corporate)
